COMMUNITY CALENDAR

The Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce maintains an online calendar to promote the events and activities of our community organizations. Its purpose is two-fold:

to make the information available to the entire community
to help community organizations schedule their events and activties so that they don't occur at the same time, thus competing for participation and sponsorship support.

All not-for-profit organizations are invited to post their events on this calendar if the events are open to the community. Businesses who are holding a fundraising event that benefits a not-for-profit organization or other entity may also post those kinds of activities.

For example, a retail business cannot post a for-profit sales event. However, if a retail business is holding a fundraising event to benefit an entity such as homeless shelter or food pantry, the event can be posted as long as it is approved and meets all posting criteria. Decisions regarding the appropriateness of an event for the calendar are made by the Chamber, and all decisions are final.
